Cod liver oil is a natural source of vitamins A and D and the two essential fatty acids EPA and DHA. Vitamin A is essential for healthy skin hair teeth gums and vision. Amongst other things Vitamin D is required for the formation development and maintenance of bones. Cod liver oil may be of benefit to sufferers of inflammatory disorders such as arthritis.
