Beta-hydroxy beta-methyl butyrate (HMB) is a metabolite of the amino acid Leucine and is synthesized in the human body.
Three grams of HMB per day may help muscles combat protein breakdown, assist in muscle repair and support increased endurance. Also, well-controlled scientific studies have found increases in muscle mass and decreases in body fat.

Use up to 6 capsules daily in divided doses. PhD recommend 2 capsules taken at 3 stages throughout the day to gain optimum results. Ideally swallow 2 capsules with the pre-exercise drink or meal, followed by 2 capsules immediately after intense exercise. You can use the remaining 2 capsules before bed with a snack or drink.
On non-training days simply use 6 capsules in divided doses spread evenly throughout the day.
