High 5 4:1 Advanced Training Bar with 4:1 blend of carbohydrates and whey protein bar, flavoured with cranberries. The carbohydrate content is a mix of simple sugars and complex carbohydrates from oats to give sustained energy delivery. Whilst protein content is predominately whey based it also includes soy and wheat gluten to provide a balance of amino acids content to further promote post exercise recovery.
The bar is intended for use both during training or post training to aid recover and it's also ideal for multi day endurance type events. Recent research has shown that consuming protein during exercise as well as carbohydrates can lower the rate at which muscle breaks down and increase the rate of muscle repair
