Fsc Iron Complex 14mg contains Iron with vitamin C, folic acid & vitamin B12. This is to combat iron deficiency, more likely in pregnancy, slimmers, elderly, athletes, women with menorrhagia (heavy menstruation) and vegetarians.
Fsc Iron Complex 14mg – is an advanced iron complex containing a synergistic combination of nutrients. Iron is a vital mineral carrying oxygen to cells for optimum energy production. Vitamin B 12 and Folic Acid act closely together and help form new red blood cells. Vitamin C increases the body's ability to absorb and use iron and works in partnership with folic acid. No Artificial Flavours or Preservatives, No Added Sugar, Salt or Colours, Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Yeast Free, Dairy Free, Soya Free and Corn Free. It is suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.
Contraindications:
Non-absorbed iron can accumulate in the body and cause constipation, diarrhoea or nausea. Iron interacts with some forms of medication including Deferoxamine, Chorhexicline and Penicillamine.
Precautions:
Do not 'self-diagnose' iron deficiency. Seek medical advice before taking iron supplements.
This product contains iron which, if taken in excess can be harmful to very young children.
