Equavision is a unique supplement combining specific omega-3 and omega-6 long chain fatty acids and antioxidants, including Lutein, to help maintain healthy eyes.

Omega-3 Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) – DHA (and AA) are rapidly incorporated into the nervous tissues of the retina and the brain during the brain’s growth phase, which takes place from the last trimester of pregnancy up to 2 years of age. DHA is essential for structural brain development and is particularly important in early childhood.
Omega-3 Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) is thought to be important for moment-to-moment brain cell signalling.
Omega-6 Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) from evening primrose oil may act synergistically to enhance the effect of Omega-3s, directing the fatty acid building-blocks in a similar way to EPA and DHA. Arachidonic Acid (AA), play a structural role in supporting visual health.
A look at Lutein
Lutein is a carotenoid that accumulates in macular of the eye, the area responsible for central vision and visual acuity. Along with zeaxanthin it forms the yellow macular pigment, which protects the macula.
Zinc
Zinc is found in high concentrations in the retina and may have a role in eye health.
